Mrs. Burrell teaches Middle School English Language Arts at St. Rose of Lima Catholic School. Mrs. Burrell attended the University of MN-Morris where she earned an English degree and her Secondary Education certification. She taught high school in El Paso before deciding to get her Masters of Library Science from University of Texas.

She then served as a librarian in El Paso, Dallas and parts of Houston. Jeny is glad to be a transplant Houstonian, settled here with her husband and her two daughters, who are also Cardinals.

In her spare time, she likes to read, travel and binge watch Gilmore Girls on Netflix.
