Jeny Burrell teaches Middle School English Language Arts at St. Rose of Lima Catholic School. Mrs. Burrell attended the University of MN-Morris where she earned an English degree and her Secondary Education certification. She taught high school in El Paso before deciding to get her Masters of Library Science from University of Texas.

She then served as a librarian in El Paso, Dallas and parts of Houston. Jeny is glad to be a transplant Houstonian, settled here with her husband and her two daughters, who are also Cardinals.

In her spare time, she likes to read, travel and binge watch Gilmore Girls on Netflix.

Sarah Case has served at St. Rose of Lima Catholic School for over 30 years. She has also worked at St. Catherine’s Montessori and the St. Rose ECC. She believes that if a child does not love reading, they just haven’t found the right book yet.

When not reading with students, she is probably reading or laughing with her family, including her two sons that are St. Rose alumni.
