Julie Kirby is part of our exceptional Kindergarten team at St. Rose of Lima. As a proud product of Catholic schools, she is honored to be here at SRL – an incredibly tight-knit, loving, Christian community. Her goal for students is to become passionate, curious lifelong learners who rise to their greatest potential each day. Mrs. Kirby firmly believes it is her responsibility as a teacher to be compassionate, caring, supportive, and fully aware of individual student needs.

Mrs. Kirby earned her B.A. in Art History from the University of Houston. Prior to joining the St. Rose Faculty, Mrs. Kirby taught in Houston ISD for eight years as a fourth and fifth grade teacher.

In her free time you will likely find her enjoying a bike ride, reading a book, snuggling with her furry friends, Shadow and Buttercup, or hanging out with her husband and son.
