Mrs. Maldonado is a teacher in the PK3 program at St. Rose of Lima Catholic School. She was born in Mexico and moved to Houston when she was eleven years old. Mrs. Maldonado earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston in Interdisciplinary Studies (Education EC-6) with a Bilingual Generalist focus. Prior to joining the St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, team Mrs. Maldonado taught PK3 and PK4 for eight years within the archdiocese. She actively pursues the goal of instilling our early childhood learners with a strong foundation: mind, body, and spirit. Mrs. Maldonado endeavors to create a learning environment flowing with curiosity, fun, and memories to last a lifetime.

Mrs. Maldonado’s personal time is shared with her family traveling the country taking road trips. She has two children and a much beloved pet, Baby Blu!
